What does an award-winning photograph look like? It can range from an captivating portrait of a railroad employee to a moon-drenched landscape to movement captured at just the right time. Our new Photo Contest is now open for submissions, and we’re looking for the best of the best.
New this year
This brand new photo contest is open to all amateur photographers. (No professionals, please.) Students are encouraged to participate. Winning and non-winning photos will be displayed both days at Trainfest. Amateur photographers age 5 to 105 can enter! As long as you can operate a camera, you are eligible to enter the contest. Participants can enter up to 10 photos in the contest (one photo per category). Every photo MUST be entered under the name of the person who took it. Photos must be the participant’s original work.
*Photographs that are deemed more appropriate for a different category can and will be transferred.
