Grand Prize

Bill of Duplainville Clock Co. is designing and building the Grand Prize clock. Here it is photographed during the creation process. The animated character has yet to be added along with some other “bells and whistles.” See a video of Bill describing the process below.

Custom Made, Special Edition Steam Train Clock

Marking Trainfest’s 48th Anniversary by Duplainville Clock Co.

The first of only 10 Trainfest Special Edition Train Clocks!

One lucky person will win this custom designed Special Edition Train Clock with a retail value of $2,900.00.

Handmade by Master Watchmaker, Bill of Duplainville Clock Co., this clock defines the art of old-world clock making.

A true artisan, Bill has designed the clock to include an eight-day German movement, double toots, and a super baritone running bell. Bells are set to chime harmoniously on the hour and half hours.

The arm of an animated Engineer goes up and down to appear as if he’s pulling the whistle. “Puffs of smoke” from the smokestack go up and down too. Wheels turn.

Every inch of this clock has been meticulously designed and executed. From the solid wood cabinet to its stylized hand-painting, this Trainfest special edition clock is a master’s work of excellence.

Second Prize

First Class Overnight for Two on the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad

A once in a lifetime adventure awaits!

Once only available to the ultra-rich and famous, you’ll spend a night aboard the Business Car. There was no form of transportation more exclusive and none more luxurious than the Business Car until the 1940s.

Unlike the average millionaires’ plain cars of the time, the Business Car boasted polished mahogany and was considered the most elite with its every stateroom having private facilities.

You and a guest will board the Business Car from the Trego Depot. After settling in, enjoy a 4-course dinner in the formal dining room and soak in the scenery. Then step out on the open back platform where once famous politicians and movie stars once trod. Or perhaps visit the spacious Tavern Lounge to sip an aperitif. Then it’s time for you to enjoy your exclusive accommodations. In the morning, a hot breakfast will be served to you in the dining car.

Download the brochure for more detail on the First Class Overnight on the WI Great Northern Railway.

The Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad prize certificate is valid for use through December 19, 2020 and reservations must be made months in advance due to this attraction’s popularity. Use of certificate is based upon availability and not subject to blackout dates. See brochure for policy info and the All Aboard Giveaway rules for more particulars.
