What’s New in 2012
Thank you to all who helped make Trainfest 2011 a great success. Here is an overview of the celebrations for our 40th anniversary, check back for updates on Trainfest 2012!
Trainfest 2011 will be an event not to be missed, some new features are in the works and under wraps, check back here often to get a sneak peak at the excitment in store for Trainfest 2011!
In celebration of our 40th Anniversary, there will be free admission to all military personnel, with military I.D. and uniformed scouts attending with an adult.
A wide variety of activities are planned just for kids. Radio Disney® (AM 1640 in Milwaukee) will be on-hand Sunday to provide kid-friendly tunes, crafts and a chance to win a Muppets® prize pack, which includes tickets to the movie (opening Thanksgiving weekend) along with some other cool Muppets merchandise. The Trainfest winner will have their name entered to win the Radio Disney National Grand Prize trip to Manhattan!
The American Institute of Architects will be on hand with a LEGO® Brick Build Area where kids can build their own imaginative train creations, while Trainfest’s dog bone-shaped race tracks gives our younger visitors an opportunity to race some of our fast-moving trains. Plus, we’ll have face painting, Trains4Kids storytime, and coloring areas!
New manufacturers will be at Trainfest this year, including:

- Model Builder’s Supply (Canada)
There are a number of different surprises too. The 40th Anniversary of Trainfest promises to be an event to be remembered!
