For more than 40 years, Heimburger House Publishing has been offering a wide range of quality railroad titles. So many people have always been fascinated by trains of all types – steam, diesel, and electric. Since the transcontinental railroad was completed in 1869 at Promontory Point, Utah, railroads have played a major role in the development and growth of the United States. The unique sights and sounds of the steam locomotive have added color and action to railroading since the late 1800s. Today, children and adults alike enjoy an interest in railfanning and model railroading. Train shows, train conventions, and rail museums have recorded large numbers of attendees.
Here at Heimburger House, we share your passion for railroading. Our business is founded on publishing and offering the best railroad books available. We seek only the highest quality and most interesting railroading publications. Our new line of children’s railroad books has been extremely popular, and we’ve also added new transportation-related titles that we think you’ll enjoy, too.
Whether you’re a regular customer of ours or a new customer, welcome to the exciting world of railroading! We hope to serve you soon!
